Laser Services are the hallmark of Elevated Aesthetics’ leveled up skin health plan. We believe everyone would benefit from lasers!

 

Nordlys^™ SWT^® IPL and Laser Device

Candela’s Nordlys^™ system is configured with pre-set aesthetic and dermatologic treatments that have been developed and designed for over 20 years. We at EA consider it our “workhorse” because it can treat a variety of concerns!

The SWT^® IPL is indicated for:

• Solar lentigines (“sunspots”)
• Acne
• Rosacea
• Benign Pigmented Lesions
• Vascular lesions of the face

We have 5 options for booking an IPL:

1. Face (for treatment of rosacea, redness, or dark spots in multiple areas)
2. Spot Treatment (for treatment of 1-2 senile lentigos/sunspots, broken blood vessels, or under eye vessels)
3. Face + Neck + Chest (for hyperpigmentation from the chest up)
4. Chest (for hyperpigmentation on the décolleté only)
5. Acne (for treatment of active acne lesions)

The Nonablative Fractionated Laser (NAFL) is indicated for:

• Shallow resurfacing, reaching the epidermis and superficial dermis (up to 200 μm)³ with SoftCool for comfort during treatment (1940 nm wavelength).
• Deep skin resurfacing with SoftCool^™ for comfort during treatment (1550 nm wavelength)
• Recommended for skin texture concerns, including fine lines & wrinkles, as well as collagen production and skin cancer development

We have the following options for nonablative laser resurfacing:

1. The almost-no-downtime “Airbrush Laser Facial” polishes your skin for a pretty glow, addresses unwanted pigment, and surface irregularities (the technical wavelength of this laser technology is 1940 nm). This laser treatment is best suited for those with fine lines and/or hyperpigmentation with texture.
2. The “Skin Deep Laser Treatment” combines the 2 wavelengths of 1940nm (used for the “Airbrush Laser Facial”) and the 1550 nm (which stimulates collagen, addresses deeper lines, and tightens skin) for the dual purpose of addressing both superficial and deeper concerns. This treatment is considered low-downtime (you will be flaky for up to a week).
3. Small Area Laser Resurfacing – NAFL (Nonablative Fractionated Laser) to small areas only (such as the upper & lower lip area or under eyes) to eliminate wrinkles gradually

When IPL & NAFL are used in combination as a treatment, it is referred to as Light & Bright^™ Treatment. This is our favorite treatment!

• Selective Waveband Technology (SWT^®) IPL technology used in a Light & Bright treatment uses small controlled bursts of light, which directly target unsightly blood vessels or excess melanin within your skin, reducing age spots, freckles, redness and sun damage. This IPL technology is unique, filtering out harmful light wavelengths compared to the older technology of standard IPLs.
• NAFL technology rejuvenates the skin by delivering very small, controlled bursts of energy to reduce textural irregularities. The 1940nm & 1550nm handpieces are FDA indicated for use in dermatological procedures requiring the coagulation of soft tissue, as well as for skin resurfacing procedures.
