Neuromodulators
Neuromodulators for TMJ/bruxism (“teeth grinding” or clenching) work by targeting the masseter muscles. These injectables are used to help reduce muscle tension, jaw clenching, and associated discomfort. Typically, 15-30 units are administered per side, depending on the severity of symptoms and muscle strength. Treatments are usually performed every 3 months for the first two sessions, followed by maintenance treatments every 6 months. The cost is $11 per unit.
