Fillers

What is filler?

Filler is hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring sugar in the body that helps facilitate the skin’s ability to stay hydrated. Hyaluronic acid fillers are body-safe clear gels that, when injected beneath the skin, can help to fill in facial wrinkles, restore volume loss, and refine your facial features.

Where is it used?

Lips

Provides hydration to the lips, fullness, projection, and definition of the vermillion borders.

Chin/Cheeks/Jawline

Provides structure, projection where needed. Adds volume where fat pads/bone has diminished with age. Corrects asymmetry, lines (such as marionette lines, nasolabial folds, perioral lines).

Full Facial Rejuvenation

Filler is placed in various areas of the face to achieve a subtle, yet noticeable difference in the face. This results in achieving facial balance & harmony and allows the patient to appear more youthful and refreshed. Most people will ask them, “Have you changed your skincare routine? Or your hair or something?” Most people will not be able to pinpoint filler was ever even given! They’ll just notice you look refreshed and rejuvenated!

How can I avoid looking overfilled or unnatural?

Your injector matters. Our Nurse Practitioner Tara has attended advanced trainings regarding all the nuances of dermal fillers. Further, a syringe of filler is about 1 mL of HA, which is the size of a blueberry. Therefore, you would need a lot of filler to appear overfilled. The type of filler used in various areas also will help with looking natural; firmer fillers are used in areas that are bony, such as the cheekbones or chin. Softer fillers are used in areas of movement, like the lower face or the midface (upper mid cheeks).

How much is a syringe of filler?

One syringe is $650. However, our philosophy regarding filler is that of balance. We also pride ourselves on natural results, only rejuvenating and highlighting your beauty and features. If your lips only need half of a syringe, we will use the other half of the syringe elsewhere.

Many facial balancing needs will require more than 1 syringe. In fact, most will need up to 4 syringes; however the amount will vary based on your goals, budget, and your needs. Therefore we offer a Facial Balancing package, where 3 or more syringes are used. This costs $1500, a savings of $450.
